@The flowers have been waiting."We put all our efforts into blooming like this, but we cannot hear the children's voices yet."
@All the flowers were decked out in their finery, adding to the beauty of the classrooms which had been prepared with loving care.

@The cool wind spoke quietly as it passed by. "They'll be here soon... coming soon."

@The flowers waited with their bright eyes shining ever more widely.

@It was true. The present kindergarten students had been invited by the teachers, the joyful new semester was starting.

@The children sang hymns and prayed. They sang their kindergarten song with especially powerful voices. Were the flowers waiting to hear this song?

@There was special big news. A new kindergarten director had come. S. Mary Tokunaga, School Sisters of Notre Dame from Kyoto, had arrived for her new post. The children listened to the greetings and wilcome from S. Mary. I remember it, and how S. Mary told them, "In a special way, our Mother Mary protects you, the children of Star of the Sea Kindergarten. It is because this kindergarten was given the name of one of the titles of Mary."
@@"Learning from gentle Mary, you should also become people with gentle hearts."
@"Yes!" All promised this in their hearts.
Afterwards, all had a good time playing in the garden. Today was a very special day.
